The Leader and District Arts Council is a non profit charitable organization that acquires fresh and new entertainment for all ages in order to modernize small town rural communities and create a sense of community closeness by drawing everyone together for truly satisfying entertainment.
Thanks to our sponsors, volunteers and private donations the Arts Council has been able to provide past entertainment such as the House Of Doc, Joe Matheson’s smash hit “Hank Williams 1952 Kawliga Café”, Derek Yaple-Schobert whom BRAVO TV rated as “one of Canada’s best of the next generation musicians,” Juno Award Winners: David Myles and Jake Vaadeland; Saskatchewan Country Thunder Performer, Tommy Charles; and Saskatchewan Icons -- The Johner Brothers!
Ticket purchase will get you a chair in the 300 seat Leader Community Centre for a minimum 90 minute spectacular showcase with one intermission, whereupon snacks and drinks are provided by local clubs for a voluntary donation toward their organization. The purchase will also give you the opportunity to bolster a community and bring in greater talents for future events!
Every ticket purchase and donation allows us to strengthen the arts in our area by providing funding to other arts organizations, putting shows on at schools and senior citizen homes, and bring in free concerts once a year to make sure the arts are accessible to everyone!
Season tickets are only $90 for all 4 performances in the season and single performance tickets are $35 for advance and $40 at the door. From time to time The Leader & District Arts Council will have special performances that are not included in the season package but are still affordable as per the nature of our organization.
Call your neighbors, call your friends or just bring yourself if that’s all you’ve got and meet new friends! Winter is coming fast so be sure to get your tickets to the next show and have a great reason to go out and stay warm at the same time while having an outstanding, fun-filled evening you will not regret!
